What is UPAEP ?This is Spanish for POSTAL UNION OF THE AMERICAS, SPAIN (PUAS) and Portugal. Originally UPAE (Union Postal de las Americas Y España), the Union was later expanded to include Portugal. The purely UPAEP stamps issued since 1989 include a posthorn-shaped symbol and each year has a specific theme but we have included in this topic Congresses, forerunners and other related stamps. The stamps are not strictly speaking JOINT ISSUES (see) because they do not have identical designs nor are they all issued on the same dates. We list in our TOPICS the available UPAEP |
