This is a RETAIL price list for VERY FINE MINT NEVER HINGED
SETS (VF, NH), Fine-Very Fine Never Hinged sets, Very Fine Used and Cancelled to Order (CTO). Some
stamps were issued without gum (NGAI), these are NOT faults. Lesser grade stamps
are noted as Fine-Very Fine (F/VF), light hinge (LH), hinged (H), hinge remnant
(HR), disturbed gum (DG), part original gum (POG), no gum (NG). A very few items
have faults that are described as “thin” or thinned, browned, creased, tropical
stains (TS) or tropicalized. Stamps of a lesser grade or faulty stamps are
offered at a lower price than if they were in first grade condition. |

ERRORS AND VARIETIES range from gutters and other uncommon
or unlisted formats, flyspeck freaks and oddities to constant varieties
(usually, but not always, one per sheet of stamps) and imperforates (where the
normal stamp is perforated), scarce errors and essays. Serial sheet numbers
(sheet #) and some relevant corners, or plate numbers (plate #) are listed when
available; some are common, others can be scarce for issues where the total
number of sheets printed is 1000 or less. The paper shade differences of the
modern issues of El Salvador and Honduras are slight and are distinguished as
follows: EL SALVADOR: cream paper = white gum, low fluorescence, white paper =
bluish gum, high fluorescence; HONDURAS: Cream paper = white gum, high
fluorescence, white paper = bluish gum, low fluorescence. |

add $2.75 ($1.75 postage plus $1.00 registration) Filled retail order $50-$100:
deduct 20% from the total, add $3.50 ($2.50 postage plus $1.00 registration)
