A few words about the CARE OF STAMPS
When you obtain NEVER HINGED STAMPS, it is always best to conserve any selvedge (margin) attached, especially tabs, sheet corners or any with marginal markings and please NEVER hinge them. There are several types of mounts with gummed back available from your supplies dealer that you can use to affix stamps to your album, or at worst insert and save in a transparent sleeve or envelope, or in a “stock book” or stock sheets or stock cards, making sure that you do not crimp the stamp teeth (perforations). Keep stamps safe from heat and high humidity and always maintain your albums and stock books upright rather than lying flat on your desk or shelf.
